Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with BooDraft. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which you may request a refund for your subscription or purchase.

1. Subscription Refunds

14-Day Refund Window

If you are not satisfied with your BooDraft subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal. No questions asked.

After the 14-day window, refunds for the current billing period are not available. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Eligibility

  • Refunds apply to the most recent billing cycle only.
  • If you have generated a significant volume of articles (more than 50% of your plan's quota) during the refund window, we reserve the right to issue a partial refund.
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method via Stripe.

2. AppSumo Lifetime Deal Refunds

If you purchased BooDraft through an AppSumo lifetime deal:

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 60 days of your AppSumo purchase date, in accordance with AppSumo's refund policy.
  • After 60 days, lifetime deal purchases are non-refundable.
  • Refund requests within the 60-day window should be submitted through AppSumo directly.

3. How to Request a Refund

Please include:

  • Your account email address.
  • The date of the charge you are requesting a refund for.
  • The reason for your refund request (optional, but helps us improve).

We aim to process all refund requests within 3-5 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been issued.

4. Plan Downgrades

If you downgrade your plan, the new rate takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. We do not issue partial refunds for the difference between plans during an active billing period.

5. Disputes

If you believe a charge was made in error or if you have a billing dispute, please contact us at refunds@boodraft.com before filing a chargeback with your bank. We are happy to resolve billing issues directly and promptly.
